We are always looking for new players to come into practice, so if you are interested in playing, get in touch with the club , or come along to one of our training sessions to find out more information.
Games
Games are arranged and played on an informal basis. Most games are played against other local and national recreational teams on a home and away schedule.
Games usually take place on a weekend, and we can also arrange a 'Double Header' if required. The format of most games is 3 x 20 minute periods, stop-time unless restrictions apply. Please check the Schedules pages for our available games.
Do We Play Checking Or Non-Checking Hockey??
The Newcastle Coyotes are registered with the EIHA Recreational Section, and play to the EIHA and IIHF rules which means full checking, however we have many games where we are willing to play non-checking if it means a game. We have played in many games in Scotland which operate a ‘Non-Checking’ policy, so we can also entertain this.
